Inspiration and Idea
“Pahadon ke Parinday” literally translates to “Mountain Birds”. This collection, for me, has wings. I wanted to capture the essence of the majesty and glory of the mountains. This collection was very directly inspired by mountains.
I created this collection in June of 2022 and my family and I were on a road trip for 17 days. We travelled many different terrains. Lush green forests, snowy regions, and barren cold deserts.
Each and every look is inspired directly by a different mountain, from the style to structure and shape as well as the colours and patterns.
